Andeg is a domesticated crow and considered a family pet. His presence in Omakayas' life symbolizes her strong connection with nature. His brief departure metaphorically suggests that while that connection is strong and powerful.... nature itself remains unpredictable. Andeg's actions suggest that change should always be accepted and valued for the insight it provides.
