In Chapter Two, Robin's dream of having a pet is fulfilled when one of her mother's clients arrives with two parakeets that Robin named Sky and Clover. Robin loved the birds and took great care of them, but her mother gave them away because they were pooping outside their cage, and she was tired of cleaning up their messes. Robin took her mother's actions as a betrayal.
