How can Act III scene 4 be considered the climax in the play "Macbeth"?

Most consider Act III, sc iii to be the climax, but a good arguement can be made for it being the comination of both. While sc iii shows the unravelling of physical events, sc iv shows the unravelling of Macbeth's mind and mental temerity.
