Is Wuthering Heights a difficult novel? In what ways does it seem Victorian to you? Discuss.

In my opinion, Wuthering Heights would only be seen as difficult because modern literature is just that.... modern. Reading Wuthering Heights takes us back to Victorian England, the time in which it was written. Bronte's language is formal and passionate, but most of all it is eloquent.... her plotlines are often violent and disturbing.
