Doris Brown worked for Billy and Rick. She had been friends with Pam and had witnessed her death. When Kelly took Billy, he brought Doris to Sandy's home. Sandy then contacted the Rosens, who provided Doris with medical care just as they did with Pam.

Doris was from Pittsburgh, and her father was still alive. Thus, she was driven back to her father's house in Pittsburgh, where Sarah had arranged for Doris' continued care. Doris then talked to her Pastor, whose son was a police officer in Pittsburgh. He subsequently notified the Baltimore Police that Doris might have witnessed the murders of Pam and Helen. When Charon found, he immediately passed the information to Tucker, who wanted her killed.
