Which character changed the most throughout the story and how?

The narrator, who is also the main character undergoes the most change in the story, Winter in the Blood. Note, these changes are inner changes, and although he never really accomplishes anything....he does gain dignity and self-respect when he discovers that he is the grandson of Yellow Calf, not the half-breed Doagie.
