How does MLK answer the questions of the clergymen of "Why direct action? Why sit-ins, marches and so forth? Aren't negotiations better?"

MLK answers the questions of the clergymen of why direct action and marches are necessary by saying that in order to get a city that has refused to negotiate in the past to negotiate, there must be crisis and tension created by the sit-ins and marches.
