Bhikkhu Bodhi is a Buddhist monk, known best for his translations of Buddhist texts into English. His most distinct characteristic is his joyful nature, and seems to be very popular due to his prevalent positivity. He has conversed with Wright at times, most prominently about the emotional freedom that is the result of the Buddhist path. He emphasizes one’s ability to select between the series of emotions that one is presented with, rather than being forced to experience all of them.
