On the outside, Gacy appeared to be an upstanding member of his Chicago community. He belonged to the Democratic Party, and even met Mrs. Carter when she was in town. Gacy was, none-the-less, a seriously deranged serial killer. Gacy lured countless young boys to his home where he would rape and kill them. Afterward, he would then bury them in his house. When police accessed Gacy's home, they found thirty-three bodies buried in his house. He was tried, convicted, and executed for his crimes.
