Who is Bee from White Noise and what is their importance?

Bee is Jack's daughter. Her mother is Tweedy Browner. Bee had been living in Korea before returning to the States to spend time with her father. Her mother shows up unexpectedly while she is visiting, and the two go onto analyze Jack's current family and its ordinariness.
