What sources did the author use for writing "When China Ruled the Seas: The Treasure Fleet of the Dragon Throne, 1405-1433"

Although I do not own a copy of this book, I have been able to find out that Levathes used eye-witness accounts, official Ming histories, and African, Arab, and Indian sources when writing this book.
