Whatever Happened to Janie?

The novel's main conflict can be found in the protagonist's desire to figure out who she is and where she belongs. Taken away from her adoptive parents, who'd raised her..... the people who were her mother and father, to live with her biological parents was difficult and confusing. Over the course of the novel, she must come to terms with being torn from the loving family she misses and fitting in with family of her birth parents.
