What are Reds?

Reds represent weakness and slavery. In all countries, including Montfort before a Red rebellion overthrew the Silver government, Reds are historically abused by the Silvers. Many are forced to live in Tech Towns for low wages and limited freedom. Others are forced to join the military in an endless war against other countries. Since Reds have no natural abilities, Silvers believe it is their civic duty to control the Reds. However, as the novel progresses, many Reds begin to fight back, proving that strength in numbers can overwhelm even the strongest of oppressors.
