He is honest with the pawnbroker and tells him that the bracelet is stolen....which shocks the pawnbroker. Almost all unwinds lie to him. He agrees to give Lev 1500$ for the bracelet, then goes back into the back room and calls the police. Anticipating this, Lev waits until the man has unlocked his safe, then knocks him out, takes the 1500, and leaves the bracelet.
