Describe symbolism in Tropic of Cancer by Henry Miller

Henry uses the lion as a symbol to represent how people, the Jewish people is his example, create their own dramas in life and see the lions as threats. The lion, however, does not want what the people have to give, as all they have is words. They are lacking in blood, bones, gristle and sinews.
