What is Exuma?

Exuma is the setting in which the infamous Fyre Festival was scheduled to take place. In a now infamous scam, Billy McFarland tricked thousands of millennials into paying for attending the “festival of the century”. In Exuma where the event was supposed to take place, disaster-relief tents, soaked mattresses, folding chairs, and containers filled with junk littered the arena. Although The Bahamas are known for its glamorous appeal, Exuma is used as a setting that demonstrates that things are not always what they appear to be.
