Who is Kai Avaro?

Kai is Tah’s grandson and described as good looking by everyone that he comes across. He is training under Tah as a medicine man. Tah appears very proud of his grandson and is eager for him to partner with Maggie, romantically and to help her with the monsters. Maggie has little faith in Kai when she meets him, judging him by his handsome appearance and apparent love of drinking and partying. He initially proves himself to her by expressing some knowledge of the monsters she is hunting.
