Dick Fuld was the chief executive officer of Lehman Brothers, which is one of the largest brokerage firms on Wall Street. Lehman was among the first firms to feel the pressure from the declining markets in 2008, and Fuld was faced with trying to find a way to raise cash to keep his company operating. Fuld is depicted as working non-stop to find a possible investor, but is also shown to be impulsive at times with a difficult manner. On one occasion he soured a potential deal with a Korean bank with his brusque demeanor.
