Boo Radley and Tom Robinson are both considered mockingbirds. Tom is a mockingbird because he is innocent of the accusations leveled against him and undeserving of his fate. Boo is a mockingbird because he was forced to spend his whole life in isolation after making one foolish, immature mistake.
