How do Jem and Scout change over the course of the novel in To Kill a Mockingbird?

Jem and Scout both learn to judge a person based on the merits of their heart, not the color of their skin. Jem becomes less antagonistic and Scout begins to embrace some feminine qualities (leaving behind some of ther Tomboy tendencies).
