In Chapter Two, Gil keeps asking Toby what kind of bike he wants until Toby tells him he wants a red Raleigh English racer. While this conversation is taking place, Judd brings Toby a glass of what is supposed to be Ginger Ale. Toby recognizes it as Collins mix. This mistake foreshadows lies and broken promises to come.
