Prince Edward was the son of Henry VIII and Jane Seymour. Edward was Henry's only surviving, legitimate, male heir, and he would go onto to be crowned the King of England after his father's death. Raised by Henry's sixth wife, Catherine Parr, Edward called her mother. Edward died of tuberculosis after ruling for seven years. He was sixteen-years-old when he died.
