Importance of Stone Heart

The stone heart is the representation of the emotions that Evly had to abandon in order to become the Evil Queen as she struggled to find a way to save her lover. The stone heart is one of the queen's two most cherished possessions and the only item she is allowed to keep in her dungeon. It is actually her own heart that was cut out of her body by a witch when Evly found herself unable to save Mira no matter how hard she tried. The witch did this so Evly could no longer feel pain or loss, but in doing so, Evly turned cold and mean. After Evly and Mira are dead, Alex and Conner give the heart to Snow White.
