Pamela Tudsbury is the daughter of British journalist, "Talky" Tudsbury. She is traveling on the Breman with her father when Victor and Rhoda move to Berlin. Victor is immediately taken by her charm and intelligence, especially after she manages to make a negative comment about Hitler at a table on a German ship, and no one but Victor catches on. Over time, Pamela falls in love with Victor, though she doesn't share her love with him until he admits to his love for her.
