What was the conflict in the story the Watson's going to Birmingham and how was it resolved in the family?

It appeas the two brothers wee going to have a difficult time during the 1963 era and their parents wanted them to experience how to handle themselves and what to expect

The Civil Rights movement is in full swing, which has resulted in some violence. Grandmother assures the family her area is safe.

The Watsons are also having a bit of trouble with Byron's behavior, and they believe that having him spend time with his grandmother would do him good.
