Importance of The Jungle Book

The Jungle Book is a novel written by British novelist Rudyard Kipling. It is the story of a young orphaned boy named Mowgli, abandoned in the jungle and raised by animals. His nemesis is the hungry tiger Shere Khan, whom Mowgli eventually kills.
