They are a fictitious tribe. All Brazilian Indian tribes are important. Many of them are uncontacted and wish to remain that way. Their way of life is being destroyed by large logging corporations. The indigenous peoples of Brazil and Peru do not want outsiders to interfere with their way of life. The only thing the outside world has to offer these people is disease and death. Occasionally a missionary or a team of missionaries will infiltrate their tribe. The missionaries are there to spread the gospel and provide teaching and medical care.
