How does Genji feel after the death of Kashiwagi?

It has been a year since Kashiwagi's death, and Genji has mourned him greatly. After feeling some guilt he decides to visit the Third Princess and her son Kaoru. He finds that he is struck by her beauty and regrets allowing her to become a nun.
