Who is Bea?

Bea is the most mature and maternal daughter, and as Lily described, their substitute-mother. Bea tends to be on the outskirts of the Trentham parties, always the one who cleans up and prepares tea rather than running wild with the adults. Even as a young woman, Bea has aspirations to attend college and accomplish great things, as she does not want her gender or rich parents to define her. With this self-sufficient attitude, Bea winds up raising her two younger sisters. Bea unconditionally loves Eva in Eva’s darkest moments, and is the only character to express genuine concern about Heloise’s troubling behavior and evident neglect.
