Zodman visited the synagogue in Vodzhder. He left in a state of "euphoria".

The contest is the "Galilee finals of the biennial Bible Quiz". The main thing that Zodman learned from the contest was the extent of Biblical study. He later admitted that he was "fairly stupid about Israel".
