The book The Son of Neptune utilizes imagery in the book to describeand show a great deal of many things in the story. Percy has a pen and through the use of imagery it is show that it can turn into a sword by clicking the top of the pen. The book uses imagery that is made to be simplistic so a child could understand but interesting enough for the older readers.
