The Sea of Monsters

What’s Percy Jackson character analysis throughout the story? How did he start off in the beginning and then progressed through the middle towards the end? What were his character traits?

Percy Jackson is the main character and protagonist in the novel. He is in the seventh grade, and he leads a fairly normal life while at school, but he is always in danger because he is a demigod, half god and half man. Percy's mother is human, and his father is Poseidon of the sea. Poseidon does not appear in the story outside of Percy's dreams.

Percy is described as intelligent, and although he is a demi-god, he must deal with the same struggles that average children face.... school, homework, and a lack of friends. Unlike other children, however, Percy is assailed by monsters and prophecies, and he is worried about making mistakes. Over the course of the novel, Percy learns to give people the benefit of the doubt, as well as to restrain himself from basing judgments on appearances.
