Dot represents Evil’s capacity to change for the better. The daughter of the Sheriff of Nottingham, Dot was confined to the School of Evil from the start. Raised by a glutton, she was told to keep her weight up and was generally disliked by her fellow witches. However, when she is sent to the School for Girls and allowed to do whatever she wants, Dot is one of the few people who changes for the better. She becomes smarter, able to come up with ideas. She also loses a large amount of weight and begins to take care of herself. She even becomes a well respected student among the Ever girls. Dot proves that, if given the right tools, Evil can become a source of Good.
