THE KINDLY ONES crosses between the human world and supernatural realms. Perhaps the most important setting of THE KINDLY ONES is the Dreaming, the kingdom of Lord Morpheus. It is the world of all dreams, and so it is created out of the stuff of the unconscious. However, the Dreaming is also an external representation of Morpheus. It is the ultimate objective correlative, an outside world that fully reflects the inner workings of the main character.
