Halt takes Will to see Old Bob, who is the horse breeder for Ranger horses. They go to get Will his pony, Tug. At first, Will is very disappointed because the horse doesn't look like much. It definitely does not look like a warrior's horse. However, he finds out soon enough that it is built for speed and stealth.
