Fate is a recurring idea in Tupac's poetry. There are several elements in Shakur's poetry that suggests the possibility and presence of Fate. One is the loss of the baby through a miscarriage. While Shakur is saddened over the loss of the child, it seems that fate will make sure the baby is waiting for its parents in the hereafter. It may have been fate that prevented the child from coming into a world in which its parents were unprepared to care for it properly.
