Using evidence from the story text, what 2 character traits would you use to describe Stick?
Stick is protective, as illustrated through his protection of Sam. Stick steps in to protect Sam from their father, as well as to disway him from joining the Black Panthers at the wrong time (he's too young) and for the wrong reasons (just because Stick did). Stick is also a loyal and dedicated friend.
