The language of this novel is very easy to understand and read. The tone of the story is relaxed and events flow very evenly into one another, very smoothly. Since the majority of the story is told as the characters talk to one another, it follows that the language would be relaxed and conversational. Note the author's use of all capitals in some words in the characers' conversations. This use of all capitals indicates a word has been verbally stressed, or perhaps even said in a louder or stronger tone of voice than other words in a particular conversation.
