Explain the meaning of this quote: "When he came home, though, Henry was very different, and I'll say this: the change was no good. You could hardly expect him to change for the better, I know."

In this quote the narrator, Bonita, is referring to the changes in Henry when he came home from serving in the Vietnamese War. Henry experiences in the war changed him, and the horrors he faced could never have produced a positive effect. Thus, she realizes that the experience of war could not have changed him for the better.
