Who was "Sheikh" Ahmed Zaki Yamani? What impact did he have on the oil industry?

Yamani was a spokesman for Saudi Arabia. He was eventually installed as oil minister, who was able to exploit Western weaknesses. Not all of the Arab countries liked Yamani or thought he was useful, however. Yet, his ability to communicate with the West and his visibility as the front man for Saudi oil made him an important person in the oil industry at the time.
