The Prince of Genovia is Mia's father. He is a cancer survivor, so he is still bald because his hair never grew back. Mia mentions her father dating one woman that is a trapeze artist and a bareback horse rider as well. Grandmere exasperates the prince as much as she does Mia. He didn't know about Mia until she was already a freshman in high school. The prince often acts as a referee between Mia and Grandmere.
