Hank is Mia's cousin. When Mia first sees Hank, he is wearing overalls and speaks in a country accent. Mia does not recognize Hank as being attractive until she notices that all of the girls in school are attracted to him. Lilly also surprises Mia by seeming shocked the first time that she sees Hank. Hank and Lilly run away together and make Mia believes they have run away together. In reality, however, Lilly has been helping Hank achieve his goal of becoming a male model. When he gets his first gig as an underwear model, Hank tells his parents that he won't be returning to the family hardware store.
