Number Six (aka Maren Elizabeth) from The Power of Six is also a legacy child (one of the garde) sent to Earth with her Cepan Katarina. When Katarina is killed when Six is 13, Six determines to find the other Garde children. When she finds John she helps him to learn how to fight. She also agrees to teach Sam, even though he is not garde. Her parents and John's parents had been best friends back on Lorien. She and John shared a brief romantic encounter. She is able to go invisible and manipulate the weather.
