Metaphors abound in these interviews. Much of the Bible, for example, is simply comprised of metaphors and parables. These can also be found in a wide variety of mythologies around the world. The serpent in the Garden of Eden, for example, is part of the temptation metaphor so commonly seen in different beliefs.
