Michael Gold from The Pact is Emily's father. He is also upset by Emily's death, but unlike his wife, doesn't blame Chris (at first). He goes and visits Chris when Chris's own father won't. He has viewed Chris as a son for so many years that he won't allow himself to believe it. He and Gus form a bond over the tragedy, but Gus stops the relationship from going any further. His support of Chris causes problems between Melanie and himself.
