In Act II, Part II, Delia, Jean and Cynthia's conversation is filled with metaphor and innuendo, all of which suggests that when Delia tells Cynthia that she is squandering gold on cheap merchandise..... she's actually telling her that she is wasting a good relationship in the name of a little quick excitement with Chad
