What is New Caledonia?

This Coal Sack system is near a red super giant star known as Murcheson's Eye. The eye is named for a relative of a First Empire ruler. Jasper Murcheson convinced the council to terraform the system and establish an Imperial university in the system. Being near the star was his primary objective. The system includes the planets of New Ireland, New Scotland, and a tiny, uninhabitable Formar. Two other plants occupy the outer orbit in the system: Dagda and Mider. All planets and other orbiting bodies in the system are named for Celtic Mythological figures.
