The Lost Hero is told from the point of view of three main characters: Jason, Piper, and Leo. It is told in the third person, but with a close insight into the observations, feelings and thoughts of the characters. Third person allows the author to jump between characters without the narrative becoming confusing, as well as letting the reader see action and events from different perspectives.
