Who is Queen Genevieve Heart from The Looking Glass Wars and what is their importance?

Queen Genevieve Heart is Alyss's kindly mother. Genevieve was the second daughter, therefore she should not have become queen. However, her sister, Redd's, disinterest in following the traditions of their family caused Genevieve's mother to disown Redd and make Genevieve queen. Out of jealousy and anger, Redd embraced Black Imagination and raged civil war against Genevieve. Even though Genevieve won the war, unrest remains in Wonderland. Genevieve is killed when Redd raids the palace and beheads her.
