who is Karen Sutton?

Karen Sutton is the worker at the Manchester Central Library who tries to help William find his mother’s birth certificate. When they discover that a woman has already ordered a copy of his mother’s birth certificate, Karen lets William know when it is picked up so that he can ask the woman who gets it about her reasons for requesting the certificate.
